Launchpad18™ feeding schedule
Newborn calves (approximately 40kg) should receive 100g of IgG within the first 12 hours of life.
Newborn kids or lambs (approximately 4kg) should receive a minimum of 10g of IgG within the first 12 hours of life.
To achieve this, feed a minimum of 5% of the birth weight of the young animal as reconstituted Launchpad18 (concentrated colostrum) in the first 12 hours of life.
For example:
Feed a 4kg goat kid or lamb 200mL of reconstituted Launchpad18 in 1 feed of 200mL*. This will ensure the animal receives approximately 10.8g IgG in the first 12 hours of life.
Feed a 40kg calf 2L of reconstituted Launchpad18 in 1 feed. This will ensure the animal receives 108g IgG in the first 12 hours of life.
Launchpad18 colostrum mixing instructions
Dissolve 300g of Launchpad18 in 700mL of clean, warm (38 – 43ᵒC) water to produce approximately 1L of liquid colostrum. Mix thoroughly.

*Feeding Launchpad18 colostrum to small ruminants
To make a single 200mL feed for lambs or goat kids: Add 60g Launchpad18 powder to 140mL clean, warm water.
At the above standard mixing rates, reconstituted Launchpad18 colostrum is thick. Approximately 30% solids, it will provide all the IgG and fat the animal requires in one feed.
However, we know that the mixture flows through some feeders/tubers better than others. And that very small lambs or kids may not take 200mL all at once.
If you are having problems tubing/feeding, try mixing half the powder in a little more water and giving the animal two smaller feeds.
E.g. Add 30g Launchpad18 powder to 100mL clean, warm water to make 130mL colostrum. Feed the animal 2 feeds of 130mL each in the first 12 hours of life.
